Cottingham Day 2026 Booking Forms
We are now inviting booking applications for Cottingham Day on Sunday 28 June 2026, the event will run from 10am – 5pm. We are hoping to replicate the success of last year where we had approx. 19,000 visitors.
The closing date for applications to be considered is Friday 10th April 2026. The deadline for applications will be strictly adhered to. You MUST get ALL your paperwork submitted by the deadline or your application will not be considered.
PLEASE do not pay until your booking has been accepted.
Documents must be submitted in “word” or “pdf” format, not as screenshots.
This year we plan to have 80 outdoor market stalls, craft stalls within the Civic Hall, outside food & drink units, fairground and dog show in Grandad’s Park, additional children’s activities, a stage with music acts and tables/chairs for the public to use on Market Green and a free park & ride bus. We are also looking to hire additional attractions.
Please note that Civic Hall traders require a minimum of £1 million Public Liability Insurance, all outside traders require a minimum of £5 million Public Liability Insurance. A template Risk Assessment is downloadable for you to use if you wish: Traders Risk Assessment Template

Please email a copy of your booking form and documents to admin@cottinghamparishcouncil.gov.uk
Where applicable, please also email a copy of the following with your booking form:
- Traders selling food are required to email a copy of their food hygiene certificates
- Traders requiring electricity are required to provide a list of all the electrical items to be used along with your most recent PAT certificate
- Traders using gas are required to provide your most recent gas certificate
Traders selling alcohol will be required to apply for their own TEN – please do not apply for this until your application has been accepted and you have been notified of your stall/unit location.
Applications will only be considered on receipt of all the required paperwork.
We will let you know by Friday 17 April 2026 if your application has been accepted.
If your application is successful full payment will be required within 7 days.
